Our Lecture Series
Just Black & White provides a lecture and slide show on photographic preservation. The lecture is about two hours in length and covers photographic identification, photographic conservation, preservation and restorations. The lecture has recently been updated to include some newer visual mediums such as color, CD-ROMs and videos. This lecture/slide show will be of interest to anyone that has some old family photographs or documents that they want to preserve. David Mishkin is the president of Just Black & White and he has presented this lecture throughout the United States. The information that will be learned is of particular importance to genealogical organizations, museums, historical societies and libraries. The only cost for the lecture and slide show is for traveling expenses from Portland, Maine to your location.
This service is being provided by David Mishkin in an effort to educate the public to insure that photographs and documents that are of historic or sentimental value will endure from generation to generation.
